The original version of "Here I Go Again" was featured in the band's 1982, "Saints & Sinners" (which made it to #34 on the UK Singles chart at that time). The song was later re-recorded for their 1987 self-titled album. After the lead-off single, "Still Of The Night", stalled at #79, it was their second single, "Here I Go Again", that hit musical pay dirt. The song was a #1 hit on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Cash Box Top 100, #4 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, and #9 on the UK Singles chart. This is the USA Single Remix of the song, which runs 43 seconds shorter than the original album version.
