Mycelium Intervention is an intergalactic concept album that takes you on a journey from soil to stardust. Exploring themes of spiritual contact though magic mushroom ingestion, rich elites flying away on spaceships leaving the poor to deal with Earth's mess, myths of ancient beings returning to right the wrongs of humanity, etc. Featuring one of the bands most ambitious songs to date, the 20min instrumental epic "Head Northeast 2.5 Million Light Years and Make a Left" evokes the feeling of traveling deep into the cosmos with onslaughts of shining synths, spacey riffs and hypnotic rhythms. Ruckzuck is a Poconos, PA based Psychedelic Space Rock trio who combine their love of early rock'n roll with a fascination for surreal and extraterrestrial soundscapes.
