Ludovico Einaudi-Discovery at Night
Einaudi’s 5th entry to his 2013 album ‘in a time lapse’ is a piano solo in e-flat major. The tune uses the harmonic progression of b-flat major, f minor, a-flat manor to e-flat major throughout the piece. The main theme to Ludovico Einaudi's Discovery at Night consists of a melody focused around these four notes emphasised amongst their respective spread-chords. The second melodic theme is a basic scaled-melody an octave above the main theme. The work is around 3-4 minutes.
