Description
Another "Bird Song" by Sir Julius Benedict. Joan Sutherland was quite fond of this tune, probably because of this very recording. Galli-Curci's performance is far lovelier than any of the performances I have heard of this piece from Dame Joan. Victor recording, May 12, 1927.
